Slavisa Jokanovic says that he is looking to bolster his squad with two or three new faces before the transfer window closes.

The Whites have been building up a head of steam in recent months, attracting admirers from across the division for their expansive, enterprising style of football.

Ahead of Fulham’s trip to Loftus Road on Saturday, Jokanovic expressed his desire to add to his already talented squad.

“The window is over halfway through and we haven’t brought in any new players. We need to show ambition, these players need some fresh blood in the team. They need support.

“We need two or three players. This is my third transfer window at Fulham and it is generally a characteristic at the club that we are not so quick in our decisions and we repeat this situation.

“In front of us are some important games. I expect we are going to do some things quickly and support this team.

The Serbian added that one of these players would hopefully be a striker, but added that he would continue to place faith in his relatively settled line-up.

“We are looking for a striker but all the kids at Craven Cottage know what my team is.”
