Fernando Amorebieta's future at Fulham remains undecided as the Venezuelan is heavily linked with a move to Middlesbrough.

The central defender was on loan at Boro last season and scored a crucial winner against Brentford in the Championship play-off semi final first leg.

A return to Teesside has been mooted but, if a deal was to be reached it would be a loan move once again.

Manager Kit Symons said: “He's back in training now. Nothing is decided with him as of yet as to what he's doing.

“There's a possibility he might be going out on loan but as of yet, nothing is concrete at all.”

Were Amorebieta to remain with Fulham, he has a chance to return to the squad after the international break.

Symons added: “He could feature for Fulham. He's back in full training but hasn't played a game. He's a Fulham player so he could well do.”
