Fulham have confirmed the sale of Lasse Vigen Christensen to Brondby IF.

The midfielder returns to Denmark for an undisclosed fee after arriving in West London fro FC Midtjylland in January 2012.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with fellow-Championship side Burton Albion alongside forward Cauley Woodrow, and helping the Brewers remain in the league.

Christensen also spent the summer captaining the Denmark Under-21 team that competed in the European Championships in Poland.

He made 68 appearances for Fulham since his debut in January 2014, scoring seven goals.
