Fulham have completed the signing of Tim Ream from Bolton, after the Whites secured a work permit.

QPR had been interested in the American but it appears Kit Symons has convinced the defender to opt for a move to Craven Cottage instead.

The 27-year-old joins the Whites on a four year deal, with a club having an option to 2020.

“I’m more than pleased to be here,” Ream told the official website. “It’s been a long tome coming now, over the past week and a half it’s gone back and forth so I’m glad its finally sorted.

“The biggest thing was the history, walking into the training ground and feeling the vibe around the Cub and the success that previous American players have had here.”

Ream was originally Gary Cahill's replacement after the England international moved to Chelsea in 2012 and made 126 appearances for the Trotters.

Ream will go into the squad as Fulham take on Huddersfield at Craven Cottage this Saturday, 3pm kick-off. Tickets are available priced from £25 adults and from £15 juniors when purchased in advance. Visit fulhamfc.com/tickets

Tickets will also be available on the day from turnstiles, with all prices increasing by £5.
