Fulham right back Jack Grimmer has joined Coventry after his release from the Whites earlier this summer.

The 23-year-old joined the Whites from Aberdeen in 2012 but found game time limited at Craven Cottage.

Grimmer has previously had loan spells at Port Vale and Shrewsbury but was told his contract was not being renewed in west London.

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said: “I think it is a coup for us to sign Jack, and I look forward to working with him.

“He is a really good prospect and at 23 has even more development potential still.”

“This is an exciting signing, as Jack has both strong defensive and attacking elements to his game.

“Jack is strong, powerful, quick and has a winning mentality – all of which are important qualities to have.”

Grimmer also represented Scotland at U15 level up to the U21s.
