Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is a good player but refused to comment on whether he will add him to his QPR squad.

Reports have pointed to the Danish striker completing a move to the west London side, who have Sebastian Polter, Tjaronn Chery and Conor Washington as options up front.

Bendtner has had difficulties in recent years and was released by VfL Wolfsburg last summer.

He started his career at Arsenal where he scored 24 Premier League goals in 108 games. The 28-year-old had loan spells with Birmingham in the 2006/07 season, Sunderland in the 2011/12 campaign and Juventus the following year before leaving in 2014.

But he could return to England with QPR, but Hasselbaink is keeping his cards close to his chest admitting that he wants to do further business.

“I'm not going to comment on that. He's a good player but I'll leave it at that,” Hasselbaink said. “I would hope to do some more business. We are looking at a few.”
