Neal Ardley has ruled out another move for Fulham youngster Tom Richards.

The Dons boss is in the market for a new left-back following the departures of Callum Kennedy and Jim Fenlon at the end of last season.

Richards featured 10 times for the League Two club in the second half of the campaign, but Ardley says the 19-year-old won't be returning to Kingsmeadow.

He said: "Tom came in and did really well for us last season.

"I brought him in as more of a left wing-back, rather than to play in a flat back four.

"We are looking for a strong left-back. It's a position we will take our time with because we want to get it right."

Former Millwall and Brentford defender Scott Barron is one of the possible options.
