Danny Wishart has returned to Hayes & Yeading United.

The winger left for Alfreton Town last summer but failed to make an impact at his new club.

A loan spell back with United followed in January and another at Margate before he was released by Town in the summer.

Wishart trained with Conference South new boys Wealdstone in the summer but boss Gordon Bartlett decided not to offer the player terms.

And now he is back where it all began once more, going straight into the starting line-up for the big kick-off at St Albans on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Hayes & Yeading boss Phil Babb has also added striker Myles Stephenson from North Greenford United and winger Trecy Bambi to his squad.

It was a busy week for Babb in the run-up to the first game of the new Conference South campaign as he brought in lots of new faces to try and avoid a repeat of last year's struggles.
