Young Chelsea midfielder Bertrand Traore will continue his football education with another season-long loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem.

The 18-year-old only signed for the Blues in January after impressing on trial and was sent to the Dutch club for the second half of last term.

He impressed in the Eredivisie and scored three times in 13 outings.

Vitesse director Mo Allach told the club's official website: "We are delighted that Bertrand has joined us again.

Waiting: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho doesn't feel Traore is ready for the first team yet

“He is familiar with our work and playing style and his personality has impressed us."

Traore, who can play out wide or as a forward, is not yet considered ready to fight for a starting spot and Stamford Bridge and would have difficulties obtaining a UK work permit.

Meanwhile, Ashley Cole has signed a two-year deal at Roma following the expiry of his Blues contract this summer.
