Tomas Kalas would consider making his loan deal at Fulham permanent in the summer if an offer was on the table.

The Czech defender has impressed Whites fans during his temporary switch from Chelsea and they would be keen to see him remain with the club.

However, the centre back did admit it would depend on 'many factors' but is happy at Craven Cottage.

He said: “If I get the offer, I might consider something but obviously it's still quite early and we'll see what comes at the end of the season.

“We'll see if we're going to chase promotion or not. It depends on so many factors but I'm quite happy now.”

Strain: Tomas Kalas (R) and David Cotterill go neck and neck

In the 23 games Kalas has played, the Whites have conceded 23 goals, including three in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham. In the 10 he has missed, the club have conceded 18.

The defender added: “It's a nice statistic but we lost games with me in the side. It's not about me. I don't know.

“You'll have to ask someone else why. I'm always trying to do my best and if it leads to those stats then I'm satisfied.”

Fulham travel to Cardiff tomorrow as their hectic schedule, brought about by their FA Cup run, continues.

Kalas explained: “I prefer this kind of playing just games. You don't have to train then and as a young player I need to play as much as I can and if this is the way I shall do it, I shall do it. This league is the best to gain experience.”
