Costa by name has become Costa by nature.

Chelsea confirmed on their website they have met Atletico Madrid and Spain star Diego Costa's buyout clause of £32million with the La Liga champions.

Costa transformed himself into one of the world's best strikers after a storming season in Spain, helping himself to 35 goals in all competitions.

Chelsea have been in the market for a new striker after the departure of Samuel Eto'o, and Jose Mourinho will be delighted he's secured Costa's signature despite a lack lustre set of performances in the World Cup as the holders went out in the group stage.
