Charlton defender Terrell Thomas looks to have snubbed a move to QPR in favour of Wigan Athletic, according to our sister site Kent Live .

The 19-year-old is out of contract at the Valley and is reportedly said to have had offers from QPR, Woking, Stevenage, Chesterfield and Hibernian, but it looks as though he has chosen to head to the DW Stadium instead.

Thomas spent last season on loan at Woking, helping to guide them clear of relegation from the National League before being released by Addicks' boss Karl Robinson after rejecting a new contract.

He made over 40 appearances at the National League outfit last season but it now looks like he is set for Charlton's League One rivals after snubbing the west London side.

Chalrton will be due compensation if the two sides can't come to an agreement as Thomas was under 24 and was offered a new contract by the club.
