Brentford are hoping to loan out youngsters Josh Clarke and Charlie Adams to continue their development.

The duo were promoted to the first-team squad towards the end of the campaign after impressing for the U21s.

Clarke had a spell at Braintree last season, while Adams enjoyed a month at Conference outfit Barnet. And boss Mark Warburton wants the pair to go out again to get regular minutes under their belts.

He said: "There's some very talented young players who need to keep their development going. Josh needs to go out, Charlie needs to be playing.

"If it's beneficial and works for all parties then we'll look at that. There's some young players with a good future ahead of them."

Alfie Mawson recently joined League Two Wycombe Wanderers for a month, while Raphael Calvet is also available for loan.
