Brentford are yet to receive any offers for Marcos Tebar, who has been made available for loan .

The Spaniard has not appeared for the Bees since September and manager Mark Warburton is unsure whether the former Real Madrid man will be leaving on loan, given that he lacks match fitness.

Were an offer to come in the Bees boss would give the green light to a temporary switch, like he did with Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris who joined Wycombe two weeks ago.

Warburton said: “He hasn't played much football and teams looking for loan players are either fighting relegation or pushing for promotion.

“If certain teams are in 'mid-table obscurity' are they going to take loan players? Probably not. They'll want players who are match fit and Marcos isn't match fit.”

The Bees are unlikely to add anyone in the final week of the loan window and would only act in the event of an injury.

Warburton added: “I think we're in good shape. I don't see where we need strengthening. I've got no concerns.”
