Brentford boss Mark Warburton reckons this summer's World Cup has given George Saville his big chance at Chelsea.

The Blues return to training at Cobham this morning but will be missing key players due to commitments in Brazil.

Saville spent last season on loan at Griffin Park, with the Bees and Championship rivals Wigan keen on signing the midfielder.

However, the 21-year-old, who is yet to make a first-team appearance after progressing through the Stamford Bridge ranks, will get an opportunity to impress Jose Mourinho before deciding his next move.

"The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal will be affected by the World Cup, so they will take their young players with them on their pre-season tours," said Warburton.

"A lot of players, like George, will get a chance and want to impress the manager."
