Brentford and Wigan Athletic are among the sides interested in signing Everton striker Conor McAleny.

The 21-year-old made four appearances for the Bees last season, only to have his loan spell cut short after suffering a broken leg in the win against Walsall in August.

Mark Warburton came close to re-signing the forward in March, but he remained at Goodison Park to continue his rehabilitation instead.

McAleny is out of contract at the Premier League club and is yet to put pen to paper on the new deal on the table.

And Championship duo Brentford and Wigan are both keen on a move for the Toffees academy graduate.
