At AaB he was given his debut at 20 as a winger but felt he was best suited to the right back position where he has played predominantly ever since.

During his time with the Danish club they completed a league and cup double in the 2013/14 season.

His form there saw him signed by Belgian club Zulte Waregem in December 2015 on a free transfer and he has impressed for one of the leading sides in the division.

Dalsgaard's impressive start saw him make his Denmark debut against Iceland and he has gone on to make three appearances for the full international side.

He has also made one appearance for the Denmark League XI team, a side put together largely from Superliga players although clubs from other countries can give permission for their players to play.
