Brentford wing wizard Jota has revealed that he has had offers from other clubs but will sit down with the Bees and his agent to work out his long term future.

The west Londoners triggered the year's extension on the Spaniard's contract, keeping him at the club until 2018.

The deal means that if he were to leave Griffin Park this summer, Brentford should receive a healthy transfer fee.

Jota, who has interested Premier League duo Burnley and Swansea, is happy in west London and believes the past five months have been his best in football after a difficult end to his loan deal at Eibar.

"We've had an extension to my contract," Jota told the club's official website. "Brentford have taken the option.

“Now I need to talk with my agent and Brentford because we have some offers and the option only extends it for a year.

“This year I was very happy but I need to talk with Brentford about what happens this summer.

"I enjoyed this season a lot, I think everyday at the training ground with the team is like we are a family.

“Really, the last few months I had in Spain, I wasn't enjoying the football and when I came in I enjoyed maybe my five best months in football."

Jota scored 12 goals and set up a further five more after rejoining the Bees in January, coming third in the player of the season vote, as well as claiming 'hottie of the year'.
