Konstantin Kerschbaumer is set to leave Brentford on loan for the season and join German side DSC Arminia Bielefeld, according to reports in Germany.
It is reported that the Austrian has undergone a medical with the 2. Bundesliga side and the clubs are awaiting for everything to be finalised before the loan deal is announced.
"All parties agree, there are only a few formalities to clarify," Tim Placke from Arminia's Media Department, is quoted as saying by Westfalen-Blatt.
He barely featured at the start of last season but did become a regular later on in the campaign, scoring his first goal for the club in the 3-3 draw against Brighton. He also added six assists over the course of the campaign.
The Austrian is set to come up against fellow ex-Bee Akaki Gogia, who is set to complete a deal to Union Berlin.
