Brentford are close to signing Henrik Dalsgaard according to reports in Belgium.
The 27-year-old right back has impressed with Belgian side Zulte Waregem, who he joined in 2016 from Danish side AaB.
Dalsgaard started his career as a striker before moving to the wing and then became a regular at right back.
This season, after missing the opening few months with a hip injury, has made 12 appearances for Waregem this season, scoring four goals.
The latter three came in successive games during the Championship round of the Belgian league season.
Waregem, who finished third in the regular season, are currently in fifth place.
Brentford currently have two right backs on their books in player of the season candidate Maxime Colin and up and coming talent Josh Clarke.
Adding Dalsgaard to their ranks would potentially mean one of them leaving the club in the summer.
