Brentford have been linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven winger Florian Jozefzoon and could even announce the deal ahead of the FA Cup tie with Chelsea.

The 25 year old, former Ajax youngster joined PSV from RKC Waalwijk four years ago but has seen his opportunities limited with a serious cruciate knee ligament he picked up two years ago.

The former Dutch U19 and U21 international is out of contract at the end of the season, which would be to Brentford's advantage.

Born in French Guiana, the winger has an eye fpr goal, having scored seven in 34 games for Waalwijk, five in 40 for PSV and three in 14 for Jong PSV (their reserve side).

He made four first team appearances for the four-time European Cup winners and also spent some time on loan with NAC Breda, but has not yet played outside the Netherlands.

Dean Smith has previously made a winger a transfer window priority as well as a holding midfielder and Jozefzoon would give him the options he wants out wide, especially after Sullay Kaikai's return to Crystal Palace.
