Coventry have rejected Brentford’s offer for midfielder Ben Stevenson, according to the Mirror.

The Bees are among a host of Championship clubs keen on the Sky Blues starlet and firmed up their interest earlier this week.

However, the League One strugglers have knocked backed Brentford’s bid to bring him to Griffin Park.

Brentford have also been linked with Sergi Canos with the former Liverpool man touted for a permanent move to Griffin Park.

The young midfielder, who scored the club's goal of the season last term, has not forgotten his time at Griffin Park and has liked a number of tweets related to him and also the Bees.

Canos has made just three appearances in the Championship for the Canaries this season and wasn't in the squad for either game at his former club.

The Spaniard became a favourite at Brentford last season with his enthusiasm and desire to succeed shining through.

Scott Hogan has been linked with yet another club as the Guardian reported that Watford had lined up an £8million bid.

RB Leipzig, Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Ham and West Brom have all been reported as interested in the Bees frontman, who has 14 goals after the halfway point of the season.

Local website, WD Sport, have moved to deny those reports linking the Hornets with the striker.
