Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Finnish U21 international Daniel O'Shaughnessy, subject to international clearance.
The 19-year-old defender has been on trial with the Bees in a bid to earn a contract after leaving French outfit FC Metz at the end of the season.
O'Shaughnessy appeared as a second-half substitute in Tuesday's 4-0 pre-season friendly drubbing by Spanish side Osasuna.
However, boss Mark Warburton has seen enough to give the youngster a two-year deal at Griffin Park.
