Sullay Kaikai has become the second arrival within an hour at Brentford on transfer deadline day.

Hot on the heels of permanent signing Rico Henry, winger Kaikai arrives on loan from Crystal Palace.

1. An eye for goal

His goal-scoring prowess was flagged up early when he was awarded the 2012-13 League Football Education goal of the season award for a stunning effort against Liverpool in August 2012 when still 16

2. Early Christmas present

His first professional contract with the Eagles served as an early Christmas present as it was signed on Christmas Eve 2012.

During a prolific spell on loan at Shrewsbury he became the club’s leading scorer that season despite playing a relatively small number of games. His scoring exploits led Shrews’ boss Mickey Mellon to query why the Southwark-born starlet hadn’t received an England U21 call-up.

4. Impressive debut

He claimed an assist on his Premier League debut for Crystal Palace in the final game of last season, taking the corner from which Jason Puncheon scored a consolation in the 4-1 defeat to Southampton

5. What's in a name

Kaikai's full first-name Sulaiman translates from Arabic meaning ‘Peace or Peaceful.’

Dean Smith and the Brentford fans will hope when it comes to dealing with opposing defenders Kaikai continues to give them anything but
