Brentford are poised to make a loan move for Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

The Bees, who have been struggling for goals lately, are reported to be lining up a deal to bring the former Swansea City striker to Griffin Park until January.

The 29 year old, who has also had spells with Middlesbrough, Carlisle and Watford and spent time on loan at Hull, Leeds, Blackpool, Darlington and Brentford's opponents on Saturday, Derby.

Graham has found first team opportunities limited at the Stadium of Light since signing for £5million from Swansea two years ago and has had just two minutes of first team action this season, in the Capital One Cup.

Jon Toral's late strike in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Bolton on Saturday was Brentford's first goal in three games, having drawn blanks against Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday.

With Portuguese striker Betinho having failed to make an impact and Nick Proschwitz finding chances limited, Andre Gray has shouldered most of the burden up front this season and has started to look jaded.

Bees assistant boss David Weir has already said the club will probably not make another move for Fulham striker Marcello Trotta, who has already had two loan spells with the Bees.
