Brentford are close to tying up a deal to bring French right back Maxime Colin to the club.

The 23-year-old Anderlecht man has flown into London for a medical today and will complete a deal in the coming hours.

The Bees have been looking for a right back since Moses Odubajo joined Hull last week and will be hoping a deal can be done in time to see Colin start at Bristol City on Saturday.

Alan McCormack and Josh Clarke have played there this season already and, while head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen was impressed with the leadership the Irishman showed in the wake of Tuesday night's defeat to Oxford, he is keen to bring in a faster man.

When pushed on Colin, though, Dijkhuizen was coy saying: "I don't rumours so you will see. There's too much talking from agents. We will see what happens."

Hull are also keen on signing Andre Gray but the striker will be in the Brentford squad to face Bristol City this weekend.
