Brentford have rejected a third bid from Hull City for striker Andre Gray.

It was revealed last week that the Tigers had two offers rebuffed for the former Luton frontman.

Gray was left out of the side for last night’s Capital One Cup drubbing against Oxford as speculation about his future rumbles on.

Hull made another attempt to land the unsettled 24-year-old, understood to be LESS than previously offered, which has been knocked back by the Bees, who are holding out for around £7million up front with a further £2m in add ons.

Meanwhile, Brentford have made a £2.1m bid for Auxerre forward Sebastien Haller as they scour the market for a possible replacement.
