Brentford have rejected a bid from Championship rivals Burnley for defender James Tarkowski.

The Clarets signed Bees striker Andre Gray in the summer in a deal that could be worth £9million.

And Sean Dyche’s side have made an initial offer to bring Tarkowski to Turf Moor as speculation over the future of Michael Keane intensifies, reports Mirror Online.

However, the west London club have dismissed Burnley’s bid for the former Oldham centre-back, 23, who has featured 22 times this season.

Meanwhile, the Bees have yet to receive an offer for top scorer Alan Judge, despite reported interest from Burnley, Bournemouth and Swansea.
