Brentford manager Mark Warburton hopes to add more signings to his squad before next weekend's Championship opener against Charlton Athletic.

New arrivals Moses Odubajo and Andre Gray were among the goal as the Bees completed their pre-season schedule with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Warburton is still in the market for another striker and wants to boost his options before the campaign gets underway on August 9.

He said: "We hope to have one or two in this week if it's the right person who adds value.

"We will never bring a player in just to make up numbers. It's all about adding to what we have. It's a good quality squad."

Meanwhile, Adam Forshaw was left out of the Bees squad against Palace amid interest from Wigan Athletic.
