Brentford have pulled off a transfer coup with the signing of Moses Odubajo from Leyton Orient.

Odubajo was the subject of Premier League interest last season in the form of Tottenham Hotspur but will be turning out at Griffin Park in the Championship next term.

Moses starred for the O’s in League One in 2013-14 as they battled Brentford for promotion. He chipped in with 12 goals, including a spectacular strike at Wembley in the play-off final.

The winger has agreed a three-year contract with the Bees and joins for an undisclosed fee, reportedly worth in excess of £1million.

Bees boss Mark Warburton said: “We are delighted to welcome Moses to the club. He is a player we have been looking at for the past few months.

“We have been very impressed with his quality and his consistency.

“Moses is a young player, not yet 21, with a lot of development potential. He has excellent physical abilities and a real desire to move forward in the game.

“I am delighted to secure his signature and I am sure he will prove to be an exciting addition to our squad.”

Moses came through the youth ranks at Leyton Orient and turned professional in the summer of 2011.

Meanwhile, the Bees are also set to wrap up a deal for Luton Town's Andre Gray.
