Mark Warburton admits he does not know Adam Forshaw's whereabouts – a whole week after last seeing him.

Brentford agreed a fee with Wigan Athletic for the Bees midfielder a week ago following two previous failed bids, but the transfer has still not been completed.

But with the transfer deadline looming, Wigan and Forshaw now have just over 11 hours to get the deal wrapped up.

Bees boss Warburton said: “Adam Forshaw said goodbye to me at 9am last Monday morning before heading up to Wigan, so we thought it would be done and dusted by now. It hasn't for whatever reason. We don't know what he's doing.”

Last season's League One Player of the Year has yet to feature for Brentford this season, aside from a development squad appearance.
