Brentford boss Mark Warburton is hoping to add two more players to his squad before the window closes.

The Bees have so far signed Lewis Macleod from Rangers on a permanent deal and loaned striker Chris Long from Everton.

But Warburton still wants to strengthen to boost his options for the second half of the season, with Jack Grealish and Bernardo Espinosa among the names on their radar.

He said: "Frank McParland and his team are working tirelessly and there is a lot going on, but these things take time.

"It’s about getting a player that adds value to us on the pitch, in the dressing room and on the balance sheet. Hopefully we are coming to a good conclusion.

“We hope they are permanent signings, that’s the aim. Sometimes loans are good with view to a permament. That has worked well in the past for us.”
