Danish striker Lasse Vibe has completed his move to Brentford from IFK Goteborg for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old, who has been capped nine times by his country, passed a medical and his move will be completed after international clearance is received.

The forward, who could make his first appearance tomorrow against Stoke, has signed a three year deal and joins Philipp Hofmann in bolstering Marinus Dijkhuizen's forward ranks.

The Bees head coach said: "I am very happy that we have been able to sign two attackers. We were short of numbers in that position.

"Lasse Vibe brings a lot of experience to our young squad. He can play in all positions in the front line and scored a lot of goals last season.

"I'm excited by the possibility to work with Lasse in training and look forward to seeing him in our team in the coming season."

Vibe has been an ever present in Denmark's Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, scoring once and was linked with a move to Reading in January.

He started his career at AGF Aarhus, but later joined to FC Fyn and then FC Vestsjælland.

Vibe moved in to the Danish top tier with SønderjyskE and scored 19 goals in a season and a half, 47 games, there before a move to Göteborg in 2013.

He scored 29 goals in all competitions in the 2014 Swedish season and followed that up with 13 in 23 games so far in the 2015 season.
