Brentford defender Aaron Pierre has joined League Two strugglers Wycombe Wanderers on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old, who can play at centre-half or left-back, is a regular for the club's development squad but has made just two substitute appearances for the first team.

James Tarkowski's arrival from Oldham in January has forced Pierre even further down the pecking order, and boss Mark Warburton has given the youngster the green light to head out on loan.

Pierre, who spent a spell at Conference outfit Cambridge earlier this campaign, could make his debut for the Chairboys against Southend tomorrow.
