Brentford boss Mark Warburton is hoping to another signing to his squad in the next 48 hours.

The Bees have already snapped up Rangers midfielder Lewis Macleod but Warburton wants to strengthen the squad further for the second half of the season.

Brentford have missed out on the signing of Sturm Graz striker Marco Djuricin and sporting director Frank McParland is working hard to bring more quality to Griffin Park.

Warburton said: “There’s one or two things going on and we will see how they progress in the next 24 to 48 hours.

“It’s important to get someone who adds value on and off the pitch. It’s a good dressing room, and you don’t want people who will spoil that.”
