Keanu Marsh-Brown and Jake Hyde have been placed on the transfer list.

The duo are two of Barnet’s star players but Martin Allen will listen to offers for the pair this summer.

Bees boss Allen told the club’s official website he has made Marsh-Brown available to try and free up funds in the budget for next season.

“I had a chat with Keanu and he is an outstanding talent who scored 14 goals last season but following discussions with the Chairman and Andrew Adie we have decided to make Keanu available for transfer,” he said.

“As a club we need to increase the funds in the budget, I have explained this to Keanu and he can, without a shadow of a doubt, go on to play in League One and win games.”

Hyde scored 12 goals this season despite seeing his campaign disrupted by injury, most recently netting in the 3-3 stalemate at Lincoln on Saturday.

Wants to leave: Barnet's Jake Hyde

Allen doesn’t want to lose the striker and intends to offer the 23-year-old a new contract, however Hyde has asked to leave to further his career.

“We will be offering Jake Hyde a new one-year contract and discussions are underway,” Allen added.

“However, Jake has expressed a wish to play at a higher level and his goals over the past two seasons can make that happen. Therefore we are placing Jake on the transfer list we immediate effect to see if there are clubs in the Football League who will pay the necessary compensation.

“Our chat was honest and to the point and if no one comes in for him then he will be a Barnet player next season.”

Barnet are also seeking a buyer for Jamal Lowe as Allen undertakes a major overhaul of the playing squad.

The announcement came as the club revealed their 2014-15 retained list.
