Alvaro Morata is reportedly locked in talks with Chelsea as the two parties struggle to reach an agreement.

The Juventus striker has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as Antonio Conte looks to provide support to Diego Costa.

Radamel Falcao has already returned to Monaco while Loic Remy and Alexandre Pato are also heading out of the west London club.

Morata’s representatives are believed to be demanding wages over £115,000-a-week for the forward and reports in Italy claim Chelsea will pay €60m for Morata.

Real Madrid are believed to be ready to exercise a £24million buy-back clause in the deal that took Morata to Italy before selling him on to the highest bidder.

Alvaro Negredo, Roberto Soldado and Samuel Eto’o have all been shifted on in a similar fashion and Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is not short of attacking options.

Uncertain future: Morata is expected to leave Juventus

Morata’s agent Juanma López arrived for a meeting with Real Madrid directors at the Santiago Bernabeu this afternoon as the complex transfer begins to take shape.

However, any move for the Spaniard will likely not take off until after his involvement at Euro 2016 comes to an end as personal terms and a medical cannot yet be finalised.

Morata struggled in Spain’s opening fixture of the tournament as Gerard Pique popped up with a late winner to give Vicente Del Bosque’s side victory over the Czech Republic.

Spain are looking to book their spot in the knockout stages with a similar result against Turkey tonight.
