Sammy Moore leads the list of AFC Wimbledon summer departures as Neal Ardley shakes up his squad ahead of next season.

The Dons boss held meetings with his players in the past few days and has decided not to offer contract renewals to four of the side that finished the campaign in 15th place.

Ross Worner, Jack Smith, Mark Phillips and Alfie Potter have all been released.

Fans’ favourite Moore will also not be turning out for Wimbledon again next term after leaving by mutual consent following discussions with Ardley.

The club have taken up the option on George Francomb’s contract to keep him for another season and are in negotiations with Callum Kennedy over a new deal.

Fresh terms: Adebayo Akinfenwa

Bayo Akinfenwa has been offered new and improved terms in an attempt to ward off interest from elsewhere for the powerful striker.

Akinfenwa has repeatedly spoken of his time at Wimbledon being a two-year project but his heroics against Liverpool and decent performances this season won’t have gone unnoticed.

The remainder of AFC Wimbledon’s permanent first-team squad members are under contract for next season.
