AFC Wimbledon have extended midfielder Frankie Sutherland’s loan from QPR until January 6.

The 20-year-old, who made his Dons debut at Northampton Town on November 1, has started four matches and made two substitute appearances since joining on loan.

Speaking to the Dons website, manager Neal Ardley said: “We’ve been delighted with Frankie since he came here. When we watched Frankie play before signing him he was a player who stood out and looked like he could cope with League Two football.

“Frankie has shown since that he can cope and it’s great that we will have him until January. We will have him until our first game in January, whether that’s cup or league, and we will assess it again then.”
