QPR are down to the ‘bare bones’ and could make up to four changes as they bid to remain in the Premier League against Manchester City on Sunday.

Coach Chris Ramsey is counting the cost after a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool last week that demands he shuffles his diminishing pack at The Etihad.

Nedum Onuoha is ruled out after picking up a red card at Anfield.

Steven Caulker broke his hand in the gutting reverse that saw the defender come off at half time.

Clint Hill has been struggling with a hamstring tug all week, and hasn’t trained, while Ramsey is hoping strikers Bobby Zamora and Leroy Fer also make the starting line-up.

“Bobby’s ongoing situation is well known, and Leroy hopes he will start having played only one game before hand,” added the coach.

“We’re down to the bare bones and the medical staff has been working hard.”

Defender Mauricio Isla still has a sore knee and is '50-50', according the coach.

Ramsey downplayed his own chances of remaining at the club after heartening votes of confidence from all players, but admitted there had been ‘discussions’ with the board.

“We had discussions before, but nothing is put in concrete. I’m hoping I’m going to be there but I haven’t put pen not put to paper.

“The decision will be made at the end of the season.”
