Harry Redknapp arrived late to QPR's training ground this morning - and discovered his new car wasn't the only thing struggling.

The manager revealed last week's point-saver against Stoke is struggling with a knock, and doubtful for the trip to Southampton on Saturday.

Niko Kranjcar joins, Joey Barton, Jordon Mutch and Sandro on the injured list ahead of a tough trip to the south coast.

"Jordan and Joey are out for sure," Harry said. "Niko got a knock as well, and we'll have to see about him."

Sandro hurt his knee in a bizarre training ground incident celebrating a goal, but even though the ex-Spur is missing at Saints, the manager could see the funny side of things.

"He don't score many goals so it shouldn't happen too often.

"But Southampton? Everyone said in the summer 'they're on the slide now', but Ronald Koeman's done an amazing job," added Rs boss.

Rangers go in search of a first away point of the season, with the manager remembering a win at St Mary's last time he was there in March 2013.

"You always get a bit of grief (at Southampton) and it was a good birthday present," he said.
