DEAN PAPALI bagged a last-gasp winner as AFC Hayes came from a goal down to win at Cirencester Town on Saturday.

Papali fired home from the penalty spot a minute from time after he was hauled back in the box.

Hayes had their backs against the wall in the first half, but Papali came closest to breaking the deadlock when he saw a shot well saved.

However, the visitors were hit by a sucker punch a minute before the break when Cirencester's centre-half nipped in to poke them in front.

The visitors flew out of the blocks after the restart, and Ross Ahir crashed a header against the post.

But they did get back on terms midway through the second half when Dean Clark curled a free-kick into the far corner from the edge of the box.

It was end-to-end stuff after that, and Cirencester were unlucky not to get their noses back in front when they were denied by the woodwork.

However, Hayes snatched victory in the dying seconds when Papali bagged a dramatic winner from 12 yards.

Meanwhile, Papali also bagged a penalty last Tuesday night as Hayes held AFC Totton 1-1.

Elsewhere, the reserves went down 2-1 at Sandhurst Town.
