Emmanuel Njodzeka was the hero for London Tigers as he scored a last-gasp winner to book a second qualifying round spot for the first time in their history.

Njodzeka hit a first time effort from the edge of the box with precision into the bottom corner of the net as Tigers beat Brightlingsea Regent 1-0.

That set up a trip to Needham Market on Saturday week for the Spartan South Midlands Premier side.

Brightlingsea had the best chance of the opening half when Ilyes Mohammed brought down Russell Malton in the box, only for Tigers' keeper Luis Mendes de Brito to keep out Ben Newson's spot-kick.

Tigers eventually made the breakthrough late on when Eduardo Perez-Redondo had his effort from range blocked, which fell into the path of Njodzeka - who made no mistake.

Elsewhere, Southern Division One outfit Uxbridge made light work of Combined Countieas League side Bedfont & Feltham with a 6-0 win.

Craige Tomkins struck twice inside the opening 10 minutes to send the Reds on their way, including a well hit effort which went in via the post, before Matt Woods scored the third after just 23 minutes.

Chris Moore, Kevin Warner and Woods with his second sealed the victory in the second half.

Close: Bedfont & Feltham's Jason Pinnock heads towards goal against Uxbridge

Jamel Velinor came closest to finding the net for Bedfont & Feltham, however his effort – having already beaten keeper Rourke Pickford – was cleared off the line.

Uxbridge will host fellow Southern League Potters Bar Town in the next round.

Harrow Borough will travel to VCD Athletic on Saturday week after edging out AFC Hayes 3-2.

A double for Tobi Akinjirin wasn't enough for Ian Crane's side as Marc Charles-Smith, Jake Gilbert and Spencer Bellotti saw Harrow through.

Northwood lost 3-2 to a late Connor Vincent strike at home to Barton Rovers in their replay on Tuesday night.

Defeated: Northwood were edged out by Barton Rovers

Despite leading twice through Joakim Ehui and Sam Byfield, the Woods were beaten by Vincent's late goal after a double from Tony Burnett had brought Barton level.

North Greenford United's tie was postponed after their scheduled opponents AFC Kempston Rovers were thrown out the competition for fielding an ineligible player.

They will now face Sileby Rangers, who were reinstated as a result, next Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Conference South clubs Hayes & Yeading and Wealdstone come into the competition at the next stage and will host St Albans and Concord Rangers respectively.
