Northampton 2-2 AFC Wimbledon

Sammy Moore's 90th minute equaliser salvaged a precious point for the Dons to keep relegation-threatened Northampton eight points behind them.

It was the third game in a row the Dons have bagged late goals.

Wimbledon had Jack Midson sent off after 28 minutes for a hand-ball which gave the hosts the chance to equalise from the penalty spot.

Neal Ardley's men got off to a good start, with George Francomb giving them a 14th minute lead, but the hosts drew level with a Darren Carter penalty on 29 minutes.

And it looked as though the Cobblers had claimed a precious win, when Carter netted his second with 11 minutes to go, with a left foot strike from outside the box.

But the Dons hit back at the death.
