Brentford 2-1 Derby County

Stuart Dallas climbed off the bench to smash a dramatic last-gasp winner as Brentford stunned league-leaders Derby.

The Northern Irishman landed the decisive blow in a pulsating encounter at Griffin Park as the Bees came from behind to snatch the points.

Chris Martin had given Derby a deserved lead before the home side hit back through second-half strikes from Andre Gray and Dallas.

Brentford made two changes to the side that lost at Bolton, with Jon Toral and Toumani Diagouraga replacing Alex Pritchard and the injured Alan McCormack.

Keeping close: Jon Toral and Richard Keogh

Derby flew out of the blocks and Simon Dawkins almost gave them an early lead, but his shot hit side netting.

However, the visitors’ pressure paid off on 26 minutes. Craig Forsyth was sent clear down the left, and his low cross was swept in by Chris Martin.

Martin came close to adding a second shortly after, while Omar Mascarell saw a long-range effort deflected wide.

But Brentford hit back to level early in the second half. Moses Odubajo burst forward from right-back before feeding Gray, who fired first time past Jack Butland.

The former Luton frontman missed the chance to put the home side in front 20 minutes from time when he headed Alan Judge’s cross against the post.

At the other end, David Button did well to block Jordan Ibe’s shot as both sides pushed for a winner.

And Brentford found it deep into injury-time when Dallas blasted the ball into the top corner.
