London Tigers signed off from a long hard season with a comprehensive 4-0 away win at Stotfold on Tuesday evening, writes John Whitbread.

It took just 20 minutes for them to open the scoring. A quick throw out from keeper Jamie Adim began a swift move that ended with Blendi Kellici delivering a perfect cross for Jabir Laraba to head home.

Only some fine saves by Stotfold keeper Michael Parkin kept Tigers at bay until they started the second half with a bang. Within 40 seconds Ilyes Mohammed forced a Stotfold defender to hit a rash back pass that Laraba raced onto and beat the keeper.

The third came in the 59th minute  when once again Laraba got hold won the ball on the edge of the penalty area and got in a shot which keeper Parkin saved but could not hold, allowing Rafiq Bettamer to fire home from close range.

Finally, in the 88th minute Kumanie Scarlett  drove forward to the edge of the area and fired in a shot that went in low at the far post.

Elsewhere, Hanwell Town looked set for another good away win when Ian Bywater scored twice in the first half.

But they were forced to settle for a draw after the home side pulled back two goals in the last 11 minutes.

Hillingdon Borough finally went down 4-2 in a see-saw match with Tring Athletic.

After going one down early on they hit back with goals from Joe Owen and Keiron Gradwell to lead 2-1, only for Tring to seal victory with three goals in the last half hour.
