Welcome to GetWestLondon's live coverage of Reading vs Fulham.
The two sides last met in May in the Championship play-off semi finals and it was the Royals who claimed the glory with a 1-0 win against the Whites to progress to the Wembley final.
It all counted for nothing though as Jaap Stam's side were beaten by Huddersfield on penalties in the final.
And in a cruel twist of fate, the fixture computer threw up a return to Berkshire as Fulham's first away game of the season.
The Whites drew last time out in the league, letting a 1-0 lead slip at home to Norwich while Reading suffered a 2-0 reverse at QPR on the opening day.
Both sides progressed in the Carabao Cup earlier this week with Fulham claiming a 2-0 win over Wycombe and Reading beating Gillingham by the same scoreline.

FULL-TIME!
Well done to Fulham! Ten men for the whole game pretty much and they earn a point, thanks to substitute Lucas Piazon! 1-1.
CHANCE!
Piazon squares to Norwood...he shoots...and it deflects for a corner! Shouts for handball, too.
Ten minutes of normal time to go. Reading still in control with a man more. Fulham battling hard.
Mendes lays the ball off for Liam Kelly, who picks his spot from outside the 18-yard area and buries it. Harsh on Button, who has had a fine afternoon in goal.
WORLD CLASS SAVE!
David Button keeps the scores level with a stunning save! Shot heading for the top corner and he claws it away with his opposite hand and over! Brilliant.
HALF-TIME
Reading 0-0 Fulham. Good recovery from the visitors after going down to ten men after just a minute.
We’ll be back in 15 minutes! Come you Whites!
Four mins added on
Nearly half-time, as the fourth official announces four additional minutes. Still 0-0.
WHAT A SAVE!
Norwood with a first time effort heading for the top corner...what a save from Mannone! Brilliant.
McShane bundles into the back of Johansen, who was blocking him from taking a free-kick. Referee has a word with the Reading defender.
Fulham have done well after 34 minutes to contain Reading with a man less. Keep it going until the break, lads. Breather well-earned.
Fulham keeper Button claims corner and is caught by a Reading player. He is down and in discomfort, getting attention.
SUBSTITUTE
Neeskens Kebano is taken off and Denis Odoi is on for Fulham, following that red card. Change of tactics clearly from Jokanovic.
What a start. Kalas deemed last man and brought down, we believe, Joseph Mendes. Kalas on the floor, looks up innocently, referee comes out with a straight red. Not what Fulham wanted at all here.
