Bury 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

Luke Moore's second-half leveller earned AFC Wimbledon a hard-fought point at strugglers Bury.

The Dons forward marked his return to the starting XI with a vital goal on 66 minutes to extend Wimbledon's unbeaten run in the league to three games.

Boss Neal Ardley made one change from the side that thrashed Portsmouth last time out, with Moore replacing the suspended Harry Pell.

George Porter wasted an early chance for the visitors when he poked the ball past Brian Jensen, but went down looking for a penalty and allowed the ball to run out of play.

However, the hosts, who hadn't won at Gigg Lane for six games, deservedly broke the deadlock on 35 minutes when one-time Dons target Danny Hylton looper a header over Ross Worner from Chris Sedgwick's cross.

But Wimbledon hit back after the break when Moore picked up a Michael Smith flick to bury the ball beyond Jensen to rescue a share of the spoils.

Dons: Worner, Fuller, Bennett, Frampton, Kennedy, Sweeney, S Moore, L Moore (Sheringham 86), Porter (Fenlon 80), Mohamed (Midson 64), Smith.

Subs (not used): Brown, Francomb, Sainte-Luce, Weston.
