Fulham 4-0 Bolton Wanderers

Caretaker boss Kit Symons staked another claim for the job on a permanent basis as Fulham ran riot at Craven Cottage.

First-half goals from Hugo Rodallega and Fernando Amorebieta put the hosts in the driving seat before youngster Lasse Vigen Christensen and Tim Hoogland wrapped up victory after the break.

Ross McCormack thought he had given the Cottagers the lead inside three minutes, but his close-range effort was ruled offside after Andy Lonergan had parried a Bryan Ruiz strike.

Opener: Hugo Rodallega gave Fulham the perfect start

However, the hosts did get their noses in front shortly after. McCormack was this time the provider, and Rodallega capitalised on Matt Mills' slip to slot past Lonergan.

Kostas Stafylidis almost added a second on 10 minutes, but the Greek was denied by a combination of Lonergan and the post.

The home side had a let off midway through the half when former Fulham man Darren Pratley ghosted in at the back stick to crash a volley against the bar.

However, Fulham doubled their lead in injury time when Amorebieta headed in Ruiz's inswinging free-kick.

Bolton came out fighting after the break, but the Cottagers almost scored a third when his chip sailed just over.

But Fulham sealed victory on 67 minutes when Rodallega crossed for Christensen to slot home from 12 yards.

Rout: Tim Hoogland scores Fulham's fourth

Defender Hoogland added another late on when he fired in off the post for his fourth goal of the season to complete the scoring.
