AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Ten-man AFC Wimbledon produced a heroic match-long rearguard to hold promotion chasing Bristol Rovers to a goalless draw at Kingsmeadow.

It's seven league games without a win for Neal Ardley's side, but this point will feel like three after they held Rovers at bay for 92 of 95 minutes following the dismissal of Paul Robinson.

The red card drama came early as with less than four minutes played Robinson got a clear touch on the ball in a foot race with Ellis Harrison, yet referee Keith Hill's instant response was a to dismiss the former Millwall man.

To Dons' credit they made light of the handicap in the first 45 restricting Rovers to just two decent chances, the first when Matty Taylor shot weakly when clean through and then when the impressive Lee Brown saw his deflected shot pawed away by keeper James Shea.

Andy Barcham produced the home side's best moment when his quick feet took him in the box only to shoot across the goal and wide.

Billy Bodin curled a delicious effort inches wide just after the restart and Dons survived one goalmouth scramble, while Barry Fullers tremendous last-ditch challenge epitomised the home side's heroic efforts.

And they might have stolen all the points had substitute Callum Kennedy not headed wide from George Francombe's cross six minutes from time.
